The upgrade replaced 26.5 kilometres of two-lane highway between Frederickton interchange and Eungai Rail, creating safer access for local communities along the NSW mid-north coast. The project opened to traffic on 16 May 2016.

Evenrange's high-performance concrete curing compounds were applied to bridge decks, abutments, pavement slabs and other structural elements across the project corridor. Our products help contractors achieve the curing efficiency required to meet government specification, reducing the risk of surface defects and ensuring long-term structural durability. All Evenrange curing compounds supplied on this project comply with AS 3799.

Supplying curing compounds across 20 bridge structures demands precise product scheduling and a supply chain capable of responding to the sequencing demands of a major bridge construction program. Each bridge pour involves different element types, including deck slabs, abutments, piers and wing walls, each with its own curing requirements. Evenrange's technical team has deep experience supporting contractors through these sequencing challenges, ensuring the right product is on site at the right time. Further details on the NSW Government's Pacific Highway upgrade program are available on the NSW Government website.
