Description
Evencure CCC is a unique and environmental system for curing ALL types of concrete used in construction. It is based on an organic alkaline reactive clay. This unique clay remains as a liquid until placed upon an alkaline surface. Once Evencure CCC is placed on fresh concrete the clay "stiffens" up trapping moisture between the concrete substrate and the clay base. Once dried, the surface of the coating becomes trafficable whilst protecting the concrete works. As the concrete dries out (cures) over a period of 3–14 days, the moisture from the Evencure CCC is also dried out, allowing the coating to begin to revert to a clay powder. This powder is then easily removed from the concrete surface, allowing for additional aftertrades.
Application
Evencure CCC is recommended to be applied at a rate of 5 square metres per litre, as soon as bleed water is dispersed, through all types of spray systems, rolled or painted to the surface. Evencure CCC dries in approximately 3 hours and is foot trafficable after 5 hours.
