Description
Evencure W30 is a wax-based, sprayable curing compound formulated to cure freshly laid concrete. It is a low to medium viscosity, white pigmented emulsion of specially blended waxes. Evencure W30 meets the requirements of AS3799 for moisture retention in liquid membrane curing compounds. Note: EVENCURE W30 WILL NOT TAKE AFTERTRADES. If aftertrades are going to be applied to the surface, mechanical removal of Evencure W30 is required.
Application
Evencure W30 is best applied with an airless spray (requires a minimum pressure of 280kPa / 40psi), but can be applied by brush, roller, or broom. Evencure W30 performs best when one complete coat is applied until a continuous uniform film is achieved. Apply, undiluted, to the concrete as soon as the bleed water has disappeared and the concrete has hardened sufficiently so as not to be marked by the application process.

Special features
After 30–35 days the continuous film formed on the concrete surface will begin to degrade due to exposure to UV light. The rate of degradation will depend on the film thickness and degree of UV exposure. Evencure W30 can also be used as a debonding agent when applied to the concrete sub-base prior to pouring the concrete base, allowing the two layers to expand and contract differently without producing cracking.
