Description
Evencure BCP is a blend of bitumen and hydrocarbon resins emulsified in water. The impervious film formed by Evencure BCP prevents excessive water evaporation, promotes efficient cement hydration, minimises shrinkage whilst increasing durability of the concrete surface. Evencure BCP conforms to AS3799.
Application
Apply Evencure BCP, undiluted, to the concrete as soon as the bleed water has disappeared, and the concrete has hardened sufficiently so as not to be marked by the application process.
Application rate
4.5 m² per litre (according to AS3799 standards)
Special features
Due to its unique formulation and blend of resins and hydrocarbons, Evencure BCP not only cures concrete but also acts as a primer coat for asphalt and bitumen overlays. It is ideally suited to bridge decks and road construction where a concrete curing compound and bitumen primer can be applied in one application.
